Maryland Private Detectives are licensed by the Maryland State Police.  Our agency and employees are successfully passed a State Police and FBI background check.  Our detectives are permitted by law to follow people around and video tape their activities. 

In a typical surveillance investigation we would work with you to agree on an exact date and time to begin and end surveillance.   

Detectives will video tape as much activity as possible

while still remaining undetected by the person being

followed and the general public.  When Detectives are

follow the subject they will switch positions frequently

so that the subject does not see the same person or

vehicle behind them turn after turn. 

There are times where vehicles are lost in traffic and

although efforts are made to relocate the vehicle, the

surveillance event may end at that point and have to be picked up another day.  If Detectives are too aggressive when following a vehicle the subject may realize that they are being followed which no one wants to see happen.
